Toes to Talent

From One Dancer to Another.

What We Do

We collect gently used ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary shoes and pass them on to dancers in need. Every pair donated keeps shoes out of landfills and puts them into the hands of children who deserve the chance to learn, move, and shine — because dance should be for everyone.

Who We Are

Dancing is a form of art that takes you on a journey through life. You can dance with music, a floor, a roof, or a bar—but without proper dance shoes, you may never experience the fullness of dance.

Researchers say that dance shoes are crucial for a dancer’s performance, providing the support and flexibility needed to execute precise movements while minimizing injury. They allow dancers to fully express technique and style, offering invaluable insight into the biomechanics of dance.

Whenever we dance with proper shoes, I feel balanced, supported, and like a stronger dancer overall. Especially in tap, without shoes, there’s no sound—meaning it’s not even tap! Dance doesn’t require a lot, but the right shoes are essential to prevent injury and to make the art come alive.

There are so many kids around the world who don’t get this experience, and they absolutely deserve it. Making it possible for them to have dance shoes is a responsibility we are willing to take—and we invite you to join us in helping too!

Our Purpose

Our mission is to collect gently worn dance shoes and provide them to young dancers in need so they can develop their talent and pursue their love of dance.

Our vision is a world where every child with a passion for dance has the shoes they need to follow their dreams.
